It could be the placebo of the price-tag ("it's expensive so it has to be good"), but I love their products and think they work well.
I have a regimen that features a face wash; serum; eye, day & night cream and it is like the superfood for my face. My fiancé and family complimented on how ‘fresh' and ‘invigorated' my skin looked within one week of using. I couldn't help but agree with them.
Word of caution: The products are *very* rich so if you're prone to breakouts, I could see this being a bad option.
An order of the eyelash curler placed a full week before the shipment to arrive, only to the wrong person located in the epicenter of the pandemic in NYC. It took more than 1 hour to explain to customer service and being placed on hold frequently. As soon as I asked for a refund, I was offered a complimentary overnight shipment of a new order. The new order never left the warehouse and when I called customer service back to inquire, I received a lecture about orders and processes delay due to the pandemic. This is true and applicable to essential items with high demand such as food, paper items. Shiseido needs to train customer service to be truthful. They just lost my confidence in the brand. There are many good products on the market.

I love shiseido, do all their product do everything they claim, maybe not but I still love them all. I own the ultimune, their eye night cream, their toner, their cleansers, their newer an older face cream lines, the waso line, their 50 SPF, their softener and even their lotions. I love the smell and the luxury feeling to every product!

Custom service is pathetic low.
Always first look if a frag is from Shiseido Group, if is, just pass it.
D&G is no longer D&G, it keeps its name, but actually the reality is, it became fake frags.
They buy frag companies, putting cheap ingredients into it, people still think its that brand... but its not.
I got many health problems with there frags, some even do have a puke smell when it comes on the skin.
Filled lot of papers from there side, but its all wasting your time with the Shiseido Group.
I did send the bottle to them, I could take something else of there crap products for less money and less ml.
They call this custom service... I call it pathetic.
I always used the black bottle of Shiseido Zen perfume. They now sell Zen in a square gold bottle. Before buying it, since I have a high sensitivity to smells, I called Shiseido to be sure the formula was the same. I was promised there had been no changes. My husband bought me a bottle for Christmas. Due to Covid, I've been out very little. When I finally put on the perfume, I quickly started getting a terrible headache. I got online and saw that the new perfume has a different formula than the old one I used. Now it has been over 30 days and I can't return the perfume. I called Shiseido to see if they would be wiling to assist me since they informed me incorrectly and I would never have bought the perfume knowing the formula was different. They took no responsibility and would not do anything to help!
Just bought a 7 lights illumination powder ???? and i couldn't be happier.... its very good the quality and the colors the touch and the smell )))
Very disappointed from shiseido customer service and shiseido itself.
After purchasing twice my gift sets, they Once again cancelled my order after confirming it.
Although both gift sets have been in-stock for the last 10 days.
I am running out of my face creams and cannot afford to have them full price, that is why I purchased them during Black Friday.
I have sent them an email, but no reply from them for the last 7 days. I have also tried to write to them on Instagram, but have received no reply from them yet.
I hope someone would apologise for this and offer some help in return.
I use 2N1 and it matches the liquid foundation perfectly so great for touch ups throughout the day. Yes, i recommend this brand
Worst customer service ever
I place the order on 11th Oct, as of today: 21st Oct, this order is not yet despatched. I emailed the customer service on 19th Oct, all I receive is to ask me to check order status online. Called them today again as I am running out of my serum. Eliza from customer service telling me there is nothing they can do, they don't know the despatch date, they can't cancel the order, all I am advised to do is to wait. Unbelievable, this is absolutely the worst customer service, I can't even cancel the order so I can buy something else. Be aware the 5 working days delivery time is not including the so called ‘processing time'.

Worst customer service ever

Be aware the 5 working days delivery time is not including the so called ‘processing time'. The below is the response I received from their so called supervisor after 3 emails and 2 days of calling:
As mentioned previously, we have no way in cancelling the order and assure you that we will get back in touch once we have any relevant information from the warehouse. We are working very hard to satisfy all our customers and appreciate your patience and kind understanding during this special time.

Excellent product range, if you choose your products wisely. It keeps my skin imaculately clean, smooth, even healthy. My favourite products are Night Moisture Enriched Cream, but I use is even for a day, cause it seems to me pretty light, also Shiseido Facial Cotton are quite good and Purifying Cleansing Foam is great!
I tried to take advantage of a coupon and ordered online. The website kept declining my order -- 4 times -- before it finally went through. Later in the week, I noticed 4 charges on my credit card... they eventually were taken off and then mysteriously they canceled the order. They told me it was my credit card, although I regularly use the credit card for online purchases. I tried to get them to honor the coupon but they said they couldn't. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't be more helpful. Nothing wrong with my credit card. Best to order your shiseido from other sources rather that this site which is not well run.

I'm incredibly disappointed with the ShiseidoUK customer service. I received a damaged/faulty packaging/product.
As soon as I noticed I called the customer service and they were rude unhelpful and made me feel very uncomfortable with their judgemental questions.
I initially simply just wanted a replacement for the faulty item but I was told that it was not possible as they would need to carry out an internal investigation and I would have to wait for at least 2 weeks and also go through so many military style procedures!
I expected more of an effort when the error is of the company. Errors do happen, and I completely understand that, I absolutely love the products and have been using them for over 2 years but I am very disappointed in the customer service handling my initial enquiry.
I normally purchase shiseido products in store such as John Lewis, Debenhams, but with being incredibly busy at work due to COVID, I thought ordering online would be the best option from their own website as well.
It's frustrating as I expected a better customer service. It's sadly now given me a very bad impression on the company, which is unfortunate as I am a huge fan of the products but I will find/use another brand moving forward. What a shame! ””
